Mark C. Cogan, P.C., of Portland, Oregon, represents individuals charged with crimes throughout Oregon, including central Oregon, northern Oregon, Pacific Coast communities and the Willamette River valley, including Clackamas County, Washington County, Multnomah County, Columbia County, Marion County, Tillamook County, Clatsop County, Lincoln County, Lane County, Linn County and Benton County and the cities of Salem, Lake Oswego, Gresham, Oregon City, Tigard, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tualatin, Milwaukie, West Linn, The Dalles and Clackamas.
Due to the obligations to our existing clients, the attorneys at Mark C. Cogan, P.C. will not be taking on new expungement cases at the current time. If you are an existing client, past client, or a prospective client we have told to get back to us in January, 2022, please feel free to give our office a call, and we can discuss what we may be able to do to assist you.
In addition, under Oregon Senate Bill 397, which took effect on January 1, 2022, Oregon’s expungement law is now more simple and streamlined than it was before. The courts are coming up with a uniform document for expungements, and will soon be available statewide. Therefore, many people may be able to complete an expungement without assistance by an attorney, unless there are complications. Although our office is pausing our expungement practice, you are welcome to give us a call to discuss your individual case, and whether you will need an attorney’s help.
